Engraving Engraving is recommended - Our in-house team can engrave your logo with precision diamond cutters onto the body of the flash drive. This is extremely durable and elegant. It is ideal if you require serial numbers or individual names.
Logo printing Adding a colour logo to a product makes it an interesting and unique corporate gift.
File installation To save you time and hassle we can pre-load any data (eg. PowerPoint presentations, course notes) onto the USB flash products.
Autorun Function allows a presentation or program to load and run instantly when the USB drive is plugged into a computer.
Hard coding solutions Make your data READ ONLY with a Dual Zone Flash Drive: If you want to protect your data from deletion by the final user then you require a Dual Zone flash drive. This special flash drive unites the flexibility of a standard USB Flash Drive with the read only nature of a CD-ROM. When you insert the flash drive into your USB port, 2 drive icons will appear: One is for the Read Only CD-ROM zone and the other for a standard removable drive (user area) . It allows us the possibility of hard coding data to the CD-ROM zone while still giving users the ability to use the flash drive zone as a regular flash drive.

Engraving is the preferred method of customisation. We can engrave anything from logos, names, web addresses, telephone numbers to serial numbers or even individual names.
Please ask for a quotation; we can provide a quote for a minimum of 25 - 100 units (quantity is depending on product type).

Please remember, the better the artwork the better the printing will be: We prefer logos to be supplied in colour separated EPS format (Encapsulated Postscript). This is the only type of file that can embed the necessary Pantone ink colour information to allow it to separate into its component inks when sent to plate. It is not sufficient to save any file in an EPS format. Your EPS has to be generated from a vector graphic originated from a suitable application such as Freehand, Illustrator or Corel Draw with the correct Pantone inks defined. TIFF formatted files can only split into component process colours (CMYK - Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black), however it is suitable providing the image resolution is high enough (300dpi).
Print Process - Tampo (or Pad) Printing It is an ink applying method but used to especially good effect on odd or curved shapes. Due to the flexibility and number of products it can mark it has become an increasing popular method. The Ink is transferred onto the product by way of a rubber 'pad'.

Our multiple USB port docking station makes it easy to install files rapidly and at a consistently high standard.

What is the difference between USB1.1 and USB2.0? The difference between USB1.1 and USB2.0 is the speed of the data transfer i.e. read/write transfer (USB2.0 is faster). However, not all PCs are USB2 compatible, which means some PCs will only run on the lower speed regardless of pen speed.
Do I need the docking station? Docking stations may come in handy if the USB port of a desktop/tower PC is difficult to reach. The docking station has an extension cable attached to it, which needs to be plugged into the USB port at the back of the PC and can now be placed conveniently on the desk – allowing easy use.
What file format for the LOGO do you suggest? Please remember, the better the artwork the better the printing will be: We prefer logos to be supplied in EPS format (Encapsulated Postscript). This is the only type of file that can embed the necessary Pantone ink colour information to allow it to separate into its component inks when sent to plate. Is there a limit to the number of times I can rewrite over previously saved data? No. Samsung, the manufacturers of the microchip we use, advise that you can write data to the product over 1,000,000 times. The estimated life expectancy of the microchip is approx. 10 years.
Is there a difference between a Flash Drive, Hyperdrive, USB Memory Stick, Flash Disk, Pen Drive or Memory Key? No. These are alternative names for the same product. However, there may be differences in the design (the way they look) and type of flash memory used.
What type of files can I save on to a USB flash drive/pen/watch? You can save all file types on to a USB flash drive/pen/watch (word documents, PowerPoint presentations, pictures, MP3 etc); it functions like another hard drive.
Does the FlashDrive have a write protect switch? Yes. Data can be write protected using the small switch positioned at the side of the pen. The switch is recessed in to the side of the memory pen to ensure it can’t be operated inadvertently.
Can I save photos direct from my camera to a USB flash drive/ pen/watch? No. Photos need to be saved from your digital camera to your PC or MAC first. Then you can save the images from your PC or MAC to your memory stick/pen/watch.
Do the USB FlashDrive and USB FlashPen require a battery or power supply? No. The USB memory stick and USB FlashPen do not require separate batteries or power supplies.
